Hello

I've been doing some research on privacy coins and few I came across was Grin and beam. They both use Mimblewimble but I've also read that mimblewimble is useless for privacy as it can see transactions sent to and from but not amount.

Can anyone confirm it? I suppose this means the future for these coins (beam, grin) is rendered useless unless they can somehow fix this.
