One of the most common traits that are evident in the life of most successful entrepreneurs is that they have this strong mindset that regardless of how things look impossible to others, they still find a way to pull it all up. Most of them aren't all that skilled in the first place but end up employing skilled individuals to run stuff for them. Regardless of how skilled you are, without the right mindset that will necessarily propel you to grow above your level, you're bent to achieve very little.

The skill set is mostly necessary at the start of most journeys but what propels you to upscale is the growth mindset that makes you uncomfortable being stagnant or being at the average region.  A combination of both will make the best out of a person and will surely enable you to reach your peak within the shortest space of time but if one is to choose between being skilled or having a growth mindset, I will always develop the winning mindset over just getting skilled.

What's your view about this? Which is better? Mindset or skill set or a combination of both.
I will suggest a combination of both. It can skyrocket your performance.

Having both is the best.

Having a good mindset is talent while being skilled can be learned by someone through training. So, combining the both of them is actually a gift that you'll be able to overcome things.

You're going to think of positivity and you're always having that thought outside the box and executing things through your skillset will make things easier.

Yes this saying saying has no doubt as a man thinking in his heart so is he, what you think determined how far one goes and this thinking is natural learning a skill to combine d on your good level of articulating self makes it easier in achieving anything one think of with a shorter time limit.

For life to be more meaningful and success been achieve with speed mindset as to bring in good positive thinking is inevitable and it's twin brother as I may called which is a skill must not be Left behind also the two must work together, because where the two is at right position to any many life is more easy in any pursuit.
I there agreed that mindset and skills has great way of making things easier.

So permit me to coin a word.... Mindskillset....

Lol that’s funny but anyway it is always better to have mind over body because whatever your mind tells you to do you know you can follow it. I think it might be impossible to have only one. If you want to succeed you need to have both and there is no going around about it. If you have only one, either mind or skill, you will surely fail one way or another

Actually mindset and or skill set can be taught and learned.. Even as skill set appears to be more common and mindset more complex...

From the topic mindset or skill set, Some times both are needed to make things easier and faster...
Mindset might not be enough and skill set is never enough
So permit me to coin a word.... Mindskillset....

For me it is important for us to have a good mind set more then skill set. If we do not have our minds on right then we will no be able to some things in life.

We can learn a skill set. But for us to have a mindset is to make us more positive and for us to have a positive outlook on life. To me this is more important then a good skill set.

Having a skill is great but having the right mindset to excel is superb, so I would rather first develop the right mindset needed for me to excel in whatever I do than just having a set. As having a skill without the right mindset wouldn't help achieve much as you will be undermining your own ability.
So for me having the right mindset is the first and foremost thing to do before adding a skill to it as this would mostly results in positive achievement.

If i have the skill, its easy to put a mindset so for me to choose , it is Skill set that I will
forever be taking because I am the person that starts in very poor living and I manage to deal
with everything in life , and to what I have learn? skills gives us food from the table.

Best example is me and my brother , He is the type that plans ahead of time always but
the result keeps Him failing but while i focused in building and developing my skills and now? i am
more successful than Him.

having a mindset to know how to form and delegate a good team to operate a business is where entrepreneurs succeed
entrepreneurs are not those that run businesses, entrepreneurs hire the talent to run businesses

an entrepreneurs skills are not in the product design skillset. entrepreneurs dont need to learn new skills of a product/service to understand the production and process of the product/service.. again the entrepreneur hires the talent

an entrepreneurs mindset, knowledge, cognitive ability are mainly delegation related. .. and funding ability

an entrepreneurs success is not determined by the entrepreneur being the most skilled/knowledgeable about a product/service
an entrepreneurs success is determined by the entrepreneur being able to hire people with more skill/knowledge about a product/service, than the entrepreneur

hire people dumber then you, get dumb results
hire people smarter then you, get smart results

What's your view about this? Which is better? Mindset or skill set or a combination of both.

A combination of both is definitely top-tier but if I were to choose which one is better to have, I’d say a good mindset is much more essential.

Someone with good mindset can learn a skill set because they are determined, motivated and hard-workers. If they put their mind into something they can definitely do it and if things fail they can bounce back easily and can get back to what they were doing.

As opposed to someone with only a skill set, they would fail with a wrong mindset. They could make the wrong decisions and if you are someone with not of a good mindset then you have low emotional and mental intelligence.

If the mindset is skillfully arranged in a creative form then the chances of success are high.

If you move forward with skill and thought, you can quickly achieve something good in any work.

However, as you progress and take on more complex roles, mindset, particularly a growth mindset, becomes increasingly important for leadership, adaptability, and continued success.
