There no different between those two, just OS. Its all up to you which one you want to use. Its easier using linux for me though.
Most people who mine Ethereum use Windows and MSI Afterburner to make the best of their GPU power.
What is the different to mine Ethereum in profit ? Any speed different or advantage to use which kind of Operating system ?
The difference between mine ethereum through linux and windows is only in the operating the system. That doesn't give any impact to the speed because the only important thing to define how much hashrate you will get is your hardware itself. The speed will be same but in linux and you may get more difficult to operating your mining. It's better in the security compared to the windosw.
Step 1: Download Geth.
Step 2: Unzip GETH.
Step 3: Start Command Prompt.
Step 4: cd Into Root Directory.
Step 5: Create Geth Account.
Step 6: Create Password.
Step 7: Connect to Ethereum.
