im just going to paste and copy my usually answer for this kind of questions Smiley

For calculating your mining income , possible profitability you need to know a few things :
to answer to the opening post of this topic i highlited some questions Smiley

How much $ is your mining PC ?
What is the total power draw for your system at the wall ?
How much $/kwh you paying for electricity included tax and another fees ?
What is the max hashrate you can get from ur rig ?
What wallet / exchage you going to use (what % they charging you for exchange ) ?
What mining software you are using ? ( its free or have some % developer fee )
What pool are u going to use ? ( pool fee% )
What ROI (return of investment) do you prefer ...

what any of the calculators telling you today , that is just for today ... if the difficulty going higher , your ROI can be doubled easy and ur mined coin going to be less Smiley
when you have all this information , you can use any mining calculator Smiley
there is one for example for eth:

http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/ethereum-mining-calculator

This is a very nice idea, I should craft one myself too.
This kind of post is very common and with those days pump they will get even more

is not profitable to mine even altcoins

because what you earn you give for electricity bill

and you'll be destroying your computer, because the processor is very hot and graphics card also

mined using ordinary pc windows 7 64 bit processor intel
can be used to mine what coin or bitcoin?
please understand the direction for mine?

Also when u are asking questions like this ,  we need the full specification about that computer , so some of us can give you the right answer .
For example .. with intel (celeron) 64 bit cpu you can make 0.0000001$/a day or less mining XMR , but on the same time with intel i7 64 bit cpu (i73770k) you can earn 0.6-0.9$ / day mining XMR

minus all those fees i mentioned above Smiley

Am I the only one that gets pissed off with posts like this?

DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!

Take some time to use www.google.com and search the threads in this forum...

If you can't be bothered to do a simple search, you're never going to make a profit mining...

no, you're not, always im reading this forum, i'd like to ehm...

Then why look the thread up and comment on it? It hadn't received a reply in three days.

Forget about bitcoin, that's a waste of time.

You gave us some details about your pc, but not enough.
If you a high-end CPU like an intel 6700k you can mine something, if you have an old core2duo you cannot do anything.

Anyway try to download monero XMR miner to check your hashrate

If talking about mining BTC - forget it. That has been ASICs-only since late 2013.
For Alt coins you need multiple serious GPU's to do the work.

Im quite curious about ASIC, is it profitable?

I saw a thread said 2 years ROI on the ASIC, I don't see it worth so...

Most likely not profitable. You can try Monero or Etherum, but unless you have multi-Gpu setup it won't be worth it.
