Hello,

Unfortunately I don't think it makes much sense to sell any more at the price I was asking.. I'm getting nearly twice the amount through other channels, and quite honestly I'd like to hold back the rest for other purposes.

If someone is looking to get a lifetime license for minecraft you can check on auction sites, or you can contact me via pm.

This thread consumed a little bit more time than I had planned since I was trying to make sure anyone who was interested got quick satisfaction.

I was making this offer to introduce myself to this community... and to build trust.

Thanks everyone!

Is there any difference between alpha and beta codes other than being cheaper and no longer available?

There's no difference as far as I can tell. Both codes get you the same thing, you just have to pay more now.

I just had a good conversation with RchGrav on the phone, and I got my codes. Everything went well, and I'd like to say that he's a really honest, trustworthy guy. I would definitely trade with him again.

I just got a PM that was all confused regarding the price I am asking for these... I need to be clear.. the price is 20 bitcoins.

My plans are to close this thread before I go to bed... For the moment the offer is still open.. Hopefully I can hook someone up, otherwise I'll go happily along my way.

Hey guys, on a side note.. I just got my minecraft server optimized to also be a bitcoin miner.. its currently operating at approx 30000 khash/s.  Typically how many blocks would one expect to create in a year with that at the moment.  Is there any way to reference the odds of creating a block, given the power of your rig?  Thanks!

Best Regards,

Its a fairly small difference between alpha and beta keys. Alpha and beta keys gets access to the beta plus the full version. If there is later additional content or features that are not included in the base full game alpha keys get access to that for free beta would not. At least that is my understanding of it.

I would question your definition of fairly small difference, but, If you are saying that right now, the game is the same for both people who bought the game, alpha or beta you would be correct... there is no immediate benefit or difference to having either account.

The difference is in the license..

The Minecraft alpha license includes All Future Versions of the game free of charge, Minecraft 1.0,2.0,10.0  eleventy hundred point zero.  All future versions.

Beta licenses have removed these terms, however you still get a small discount... and are still priced more than my offer, and you can't purchase with bitcoins.

To me that is a fairly BIG differentiation.

I kept hearing about this game and watched some videos but I have two concerns. Are these preexisting accounts where we can't pick our own username and such? I don't see what the advantage of an alpha account is either really, when the normal license costs ~$21.

This was an offer for Minecraft Alpha gift codes @ 20BCT...

These codes allowed for free lifetime updates to the game, unlike the current license which has removed these terms.

This offer has been closed.

Thanks to those who took part.
