I believe there are some miners out there that can restart your crashed gpu:s, but have you guys had it working as promised?

Phoenix and cgminer both are supposed to support this, but I'm again and again disappointed to see the miners hang.
Phoenix has made some progress lately though, the whole program doesn't freeze like before. It shows new work pushed and such notifications.

win 7 x64 fully water cooled xfx5870v2@955/300 ~440Mhash. temps on shaders 54-56c. no idea of power side temps.
700w be quiet! e9 PSU

My miner crashes at least once per day... too high clocks? what gives?
Any way to see the power temps on non-ref cards like this?
My 5850s run at 960/300 ~ 410Mhashes each, whereas my 5870 run at 950/300 ~ 440Mhashes too with temps at 75 +- C (can't be helped as the ambient temps are like 35 here). I use a customized version of aolcbf to reboot my cards daily as they crash a couple of times daily, and it's been working perfectly so far. My miners and Trixx autostart on every restart, hence if my rig BSODs it would restart my miners easily.
