You can do solo mining to the coins that have low Network Hashrate & Diff (New & Old coins).

It would depend on which coin that you were trying to mine. Coins with high Network Hashrate & Diff would be better to do pooled mining, you still have a change to solving a block with solo Mining, but just a bit chance. Trust me!
