apt-get update; apt-get install build-essential libssl-dev libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev libboost-all-dev git; apt-get install yasm -y git make g++ build-essential libminiupnpc-dev; apt-get install -y libboost-all-dev libdb++-dev libgmp-dev libssl-dev dos2unix; apt-get install build-essential libcurl4-openssl-dev; apt-get install make gcc m4 automake libevent-dev zlibc zlib1g-dev libjansson-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev git; cd /usr/local/; git clone git://github.com/pooler/cpuminer.git; cd cpuminer/; ./autogen.sh; ./configure CFLAGS="-O3"; make; ./minerd --url=insert pool info here --userpass=xxxxx:Password

here is what i used yesterday to mine at digital ocean, just edit and copy the above into your droplet at Digital Ocean and your mining.

DO limited me to one droplet Sad

i would have spun up a bunch of .007/ hr ones

Dogecoin mining using cloud servers (step by step):
Example:
1 Droplet: 8 CPUs no. 1 - 6khash/s per thread x 8 (about 50khash/s in total).
2 Droplet: 8 CPUs no. 2 - 6khash/s per thread x 8 (about 50khash/s in total).
3 Droplet: 8 CPUs no. 3 - 6khash/s per thread x 8 (about 50khash/s in total).
4 Droplet: 8 CPUs no. 4 - 6khash/s per thread x 8 (about 50khash/s in total).
5 Droplet: 8 CPUs no. 5 - 6khash/s per thread x 8 (about 50khash/s in total).
Costs: 5 x 8 CPUs = 40 CPUs (aprox 250 khash/s) = $20 per day
With $20 credit you can use 5 x 8CPUs droplets (cloud servers) for 24 hours. Investing $20 I mined millions doges in day 1 Smiley

You can mine any coin even with a 1 CPU server.

If you meant "mine for profit", the answer is "probably none".
