Thankfully i havent been scammed but im sure someone will be....is there a way to open a flag against them anyway?

If you go to his profile page, there is an option to add a flag:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;addflag=2664447
Three types:

Quote
Due to various concrete red flags, I believe that anyone dealing with this user has a high risk of losing money. (This flag will only be shown to guests/newbies.)
This user violated a casual or implied agreement with me, resulting in damages.
This user violated a written contract with me, resulting in damages.

Your only option is number one, and I bolded what that thing does, which is ...not much, unfortunately.

Or, you can bump this topic now and then (don't abuse it!!) and maybe a DT member who stumbles upon this topic will think this is enough to tag the account with negative trust.

Minerium is not just a coin, it is a cryptocurrency.

Wow! Such insight! Much knowledge! Many words!

Quote
This is why we are first focusing on an investment platform which will allow you to use Minerium to buy online.
A partnership with Amazon, Newegg and Netflix, for example.

Facepalm! Why is every shitty token thinking of partnerships with Amazon? Is this still a thing?

Because they know that people are looking for cryptocurrencies that are partnered up with big names that's why even if there is no possibility of that partnership happening they will still say it at the same time use safe words where they can deny it after it fails like using the word "for example" where they will also say that they don't made any promises for their token like that.

It's funny to see that in there OP they stated that the pre-sale for Minerium is ongoing yet when people judge that how can they even start a pre-sale when they haven't shown any "faces, roadmap, whitepaper" of the project they directly contradicted what they have said.
So far the tests on masternodes are working great, we need to finish the roadmap now and the website before releasing the source code and start the pre-sale !

This one is funnier:  Grin
No source code, wallets arent even available on the website, too much premined.. And ICO .. really ?    If it's not a scam, it's not a good project i'm sorry ...

Just the way how he dodge questions and bring arguments instead of answers on why their project lacks a lot of information brings the truth in them, that they are just here waiting to fool a lot of people. With the post you quoted I don't even think they know how to speak in English since he just admitted to somehow being a scam rather than being a "good project"

OP, if you have consider you have been scammed and lost $ open a flag against the user and ask DT members to support it.
But, the situation is a bit weird. Not every shitty project gets tagged just because they are shady....unfortunately!

New Minerium coin (rip off of old project) is a scam and the developer consistently dodges questions and has no real project just a blockchain and is on his way to scamming up to 4 BTC from his presale on erex.io. BEWARE of https://mineriumcoin.com/

Which is the old project ? The name seems awfully close to minereum ( probably the intention) .  As minereum v2 just launched so probably just someone looking to profit from the simillarity in names.
Definite scam, the dev is washtrading on livecoin and taking advantage of low liquidity to pump the price and trick people into paying him 0.5 ETH or more to "upgrade" their account so they can access the tokens that were "airdropped" to their ETH wallet...  It will take 50+ years for all the coins in your wallet to be unlocked... In 50+ years the ETH you spent will be worth significantly more than this shitcoin scam. Any time you point out that this is a scam inside the announcement thread the dev deletes your posts. DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP, DO NOT SEND THE DEV YOUR ETH TO "UPGRADE" TO LEVEL 2/3 ... THIS IS A SCAM AND YOU WILL NEVER RECOVER YOUR MONEY.

How then to get rid of this token? I have other coins in my wallet, how can I get rid of it and not lose the rest? help me please

The way I understand it the only options are sell your address via the Minerium website, which no doubt costs a fucking fee that goes straight to the scamming DEV, or pay the DEV 0.5 ETH to "upgrade your account" and slowly have the coins unlocked over the next 50+ years. Neither option is appealing to me.

I'm agreeing with what the OP is saying but from where it stands where they are just being shady I don't think any DT member will see this as enough evidence to tag the project themselves. To be honest they are really dodgy and also debate with members doubting their project all of which are valid request/points of members to a project of course.
