Friend, if you want to buy any mining equipments, why cant you try amazon. Its a well known and genuine site. Why you want to try some unknown sites like minerondemand? Nowadays there are a lot of scam sites available out there and these scammers know that crypto community is the best for scamming. Anyways final decision is yours.

Agreed!  As stated above I ended up buying directly from BitMAIN Smiley

We usually stock Antminers S1, S2, S3, S3+,S4,S4+, S5, S5+, S7, S7-LN, S9, R4 and the latest Antminer L3+.
They haven't mentioned anything about their current stocks which looks quite uncommon.

Also the image of a guy on their homepage is copied from internet. https://twitter.com/haraldparth/status/641614636660453376
Look at this one ;

Guy on homepage image is same.  Grin They are selling mining hardwares and they can't even hire a skilled web developer to make their site look better? I don't have any personal information but If I were you I will never buy anything from them.

Thanks for the replies guys, when I asked about doing business through an escrow I was given some nonsense answer about that putting the price up 33% to 100% because of the increased "risk".   Pfft, yeah right.

Actually here's exactly what he said:

Using escrow or any other service will rise the price for  the product by 33% at least, more realistically by 50-100%  because of the risks, additional costs, taxes and so on.
Using escrow  that we never heard before will be safe  for you, not for us. BTC is the safest method for the  suppliers and risky for buyers.

This was in answer to an email I sent where I stated I'd be covering the additional fees from the escrow.  For a scammer, the language used in the email correspondence has been the best I've seen to date, digital currency seems to attract some very professional and legit looking scammers!

I was fortunate enough to snag a couple of L3+ units today for BitMAIN's November shipment so for me at least the timing was excellent.

Quote from: website said
the S9 will yield 0.285 BTC / $159 per month and 3.36 BTC / $1939 in a year.

Looks like the website is not refurbished and have a high chance to be a scam, besides the site is not refurbished, there's no information about who behind the company, the site haven't SSL, they price is almost same as bitmain price, it's better to order directly thru bitmain.

I have never used that website. If you want to buy from them, I wouldn't deposit with bitcoin because you can't get money back. I think it don't worths to get problems because of low price and saving of some dollars, buy from reputable/original store or buy from aliexpress/ebay, pay with paypal and feel secure. And also, I personally don't trust youtube reviews because companies usually pay for positive reviews.

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to purchase some ASIC hardware (S9 & L3+) and stumbled upon http://minersondemand.com/ late last week.  The domain has only been up a few weeks and apart from a couple scripted testimonials on youtube here and here I've not been able to find any mention of them online.

They use Paypal as their payment portal however when I went to process my cart I was greeted with Paypal's "Things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later." message.
I emailed MINERSonDEMAND to enquire about supply and was told that Paypal have done the whole "freeze their funds for 180 days" thing because Paypal deem it "high risk business" presumably because it's BTC hardware.  I've known of Paypal to do this to legit merchants in the past when they start receiving high order volume, take for example jehugarcia's experience on youtube for a group buy of 18650 batteries.

I enquired as to whether or not I could pay using an alternative means, eg direct deposit or payment in BTC and they will accept the latter.  The site doesn't have the look or feel of a scammy site however some phishing emails I've seen of late have been pretty convincing so I know the scammers are lifting their game.

So I'm reaching out to the BTC community in the hope somebody can share their experience with this company, are they legit?  Any experience or feedback appreciated, thanks!
