It sounds like you have spotted a scam, it may help if you screenshot and highlight where you have spotted identical images being used. That way if they remove them there may still be evidence around, try to cut the image down to an appropriate size for the forum. It sounds like you're sensibly researching ICOs but it is probably better to avoid them altogether, as very few offer any innovative features.
I stumbled upon an ico offering of a company named "mine to the moon". After thorougly checking their site on which they sell miners at nery good prices (of course they would), i checked their facebook and instagram feed. Apart from the low number of likes and followers what stroke me was the very few photos of their farms... After examining their very few photos, i realized that they are from GIGAWATTS feed (only mirrored)!
