Batch 1 closed. If you are interested, just follow procedure and send me a PM, I will have another batch every other week.
Original Post:
Hi,
I am hosting a Mini Group Buy for Gridseed units. These units are the 5 chip ones. I am looking to target 100 units.
I want to keep this as simple as possible, so here are the terms:
1. Price is 130 USD payable in bitcoin at the following fixed rate of 0.30 BTC
2. I am located in the Philippines, the price includes shipping to me. Further shipping to you is additional cost. My target market are those who actually live here, since I can ship to them using Air21 or they can do a local pickup from any of my shops (Makati, Alabang, Cubao, etc.)
3. Units do not include any power cables. Go make your own, or buy from some local supplier.
4. No controller. Go read about how to run them using a computer or a Rasberry Pi or whatever.
5. No tech support from me, I'm just passing on your orders to a bigger group buy from a trusted source in China. There are so many threads on how to get these working.
6. If we do not meet the minimum target of 100 units within the time limit (not yet sure what date this is) then everyone simply gets a refund, less the bitcoin transaction fee. (That means 0.0001 less, usually.)
7. Please send from an address you control or have the private key. I will require a signed bitcoin message to prevent disputes.
8. Shipping using Air21 within the Philippines will cost an additional 200 PHP per unit (less if 5 or more using box packaging), payable either in BTC or PHP cash deposit to my accounts in either BPI or BDO.
9. Escrow? I'm the escrow.
My fee is already built-in to the price, it's just enough to cover "headache", shipping, handling, packing, and going to the mall to ship your stuff.
10. I do not have these in hand, thus a Group Buy. I am getting my own units soon, from an earlier purchase. The units are real, gridseed is real, I am real. Please do some research before posting something that does not make sense. I will not be moderating this thread, but I will ignore anyone who says something that does not make sense.
11. The only payment method accepted for the Group Buy is BTC. You can buy BTC from any exchange or someone who has. In the Philippines, there are at least two that accept bank deposits for BPI. I don't have any, so don't buy from me.
12. There is one payment address: 1DabsXrhB5PKTf4Ns3U3P3oeqyV7PdhmQP
13. The minimum order is 5 units. I don't want 100 people sending me a PM for 1 unit each.
14. To order, send 0.30 BTC * number of units to payment address, then send me a PM with transaction id, your complete full name, postal address with zip code, and phone number. If there is a dispute, I will ask you to sign a bitcoin message using a bitcoin address you used to pay.
Here is a chart for easy reference:

15. DO NOT SEND from any exchange: mtgox, coinbase, cryptsy, whatever. Use your own wallet. To be safe, use any of the following: bitcoin-qt, electrum, multibit, bitcoin for android, blockchain, armory.
16. Here is a previous Group Buy I also did some time last year, read it for reference:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/closed-blue-fury-usb-miner-090-or-less-per-unit-dabs-philippinesasia-29695317. No refunds once I've completed the batch and sent payment to supplier in China. No refunds until after I've sent payment for those who remained.
18. Price in bitcoin subject to change if rate moves dramatically, up until I send our payment.
19. There are no guarantees other than I will pay for a bunch of units and ship them to you once they arrive. I will not be able to test them. I will not even open the boxes, I will just send them to you. Mining income potential and or ROI is something you risk.
20. I get out of my office after 6 PM. I will ship to you, or deliver to pick up points the next day.
uh.. I think that covers most of it. I just typed this all in now, so please read the prior group buy thread as reference on how I conducted the past group buy.
If everyone follows the instructions, then let's keep it simple. If not, I will add some rules and edit this post to reflect the changes.
