3GB might be the bare minimum, but I would recommend 4GB.

Some of my R9 280x 3GB cards struggle with the DAG on occasion. They are the less stable cards of my selection but I mine ZCash with my cards because they perform better with that algorithm.

3 GB is enough VRAM to mine ETH for now - not sure if it will be enough to last 'till ETH goes fully POS given the repeated delays on the move to POS, but it's plenty for NOW.

hi
in nanopool they say need at least 4gb vram for mining..
is it the minimum for all pools ?
