Hi! guys I don't know if these specs will make me profitable . I just wanna know if there somebody can tell me what is my hash rate using this computer ( specs ) . I wanna try to mine ETN

OS Name   Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
Version   6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
OS Manufacturer   Microsoft Corporation
System Type   x64-based PC
Processor   AMD A8-7500 Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G, 3000 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date   American Megatrends Inc. 1503, 3/10/2016

With your config you can try mining cryptonight coins using Xmr-stak with this settings: CPU using 2 threads affinity core 1-3; Gpu 2 threads Intensity 112 each, affinity core 1-3.
Overclock DDR3 if you can. You could reach =>250H/s with 2133-2400Mhz ram.

I think you won't find your CPU hash anywhere because the majority of hash estimators are about GPUs mostly...

The best thing you can do is just try it out on your own and see how much are you getting Smiley

You can check my post here for a guide on how to do it and what you can mine: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.29727954

Try mining dero same cryptonight algo.
If you need coin with purpose and more than just fork or gui wallet go for Dero,
research you coin first and read carefully the details about it.
https://github.com/deroproject/documentation/blob/master/WhitePaper.md
I am personally mining dero.
DERO: Privacy + Smart Contracts + Lightning Fast Transactions, like monero + ethereum
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-dero-dag-cryptonote-bulletproofs-ssl-pow-smart-contracts-2525508
You can use cpu to mine dero.

I just figured that out now ! Well maybe I will just go ahead and earn some funds first for GPU set up for mining ETH instead of other so it will be profitable . I already have a solar panel which can reduce my electric bill and that would be one of the reason why i like to mine .
Sounds good, would using a solar panel for your electricity but, surely the cost is very large for equipment and installation when compared with ordinary electricity. Yes, the problem for new miner is when to buy a GPU and price GPUs increased 100% and empty stock.

if the price of BTC will remain like this or be lower for a few months, I bet GPU prices will go down a bit, some peeps are doing their math now.

Aside from more investment thru solar, consider your sunny time working on panels, the longer the sunlights the better.
yes, I hope like that.
besides the miners who were let down by GPU prices, also the gamers were very disappointed. Usually their (gamers) buying GPU very easy and with the normal price but now very difficult and with expensive price and solar panel environmentally friendly electricity.

If you are trying to mine with CPU only, consider mining Monero instead.

you should use VGA (vega64) to mine ETN best ...

Alright ,,, Is it also a consider as CPU ? coz using CPU is cheaper rather than using GPU .
Yes, you can mine ETN with some CPUs : it is cheaper than GPUs, but you get a lot less ETN.
But there is a problem specific wit ETN : it is the difficulty management : most of the coins are mined with a very high ratio submitted hash / therorical number of hash to get one block.
Then, mining ETN is probably not the best idea...

You are going to need an external video card. The onboard r7 will not make you a profit.

Thanks for this one !  Grin . Well I guess it will be profitable if i use GPU for mining instead . Problem is it cost a lot for me , but I will think as long as I can earn no matter what I use GPU or CPU that's fine as long as I can make money out of it .

I check cryptonight profitability at http://minecryptonight.net/ which is more or less correct - I mined at hashvault. Although on your computer, the cpu will mine <200 H/s depending on how old it is (Mine is 3yr old mac and I got 73) which is not profitable at all (unless you have something like threadripper Smiley ), as the earlier posts mentioned. As for GPU, you can check the hash rate at http://monerobenchmarks.info/ to calculate what you need to be profitable.
