uPlexa is absolutely your best bet right now.
They've just released their stable miner (not cloud bs) (https://uplexa.com/android-miner) and their net hash is still sub-10MH/s, with a middle-of-the road phone hitting around 200H/s, which equates to around 70 coins per day (source: https://www.uplexamining.com/hw-benchmarks/)
Yes, phones are not designed to be run at full tilt 24/7, and you're probably not going to want to do that with your shiny new device, but if you have a couple of old devices laying around, they are well capible of earning 100+ coins per day between them.
I think it's great. Will it be less worth it if the project were to gain significantly more net hash/difficulty? Not sure yet, but right now, it's a good way to accrue some coins!!!
