I upgraded my hardware recently. I got an ASUS F1A75-V Pro with an AMD A8-3850. The APU is hashing at about 68MH/s. I also have an HD 5850 installed hashing at about 340MH/s. The EFI BIOS setting for the APU is Force on, so it doesn't disable the APU when an external PCIex card is installed. Everything has been running fine for 4 days straight.

The integrated GPU will screw up the cards, I would just disable it.
Why would you post this?  What's the point of buying an APU then?  Pure ignorance.

Have an Asus F1A75-I with 3870 and an Asus Ares on the PCI-E slot.  APU hashes just fine in the background (Beavercreek) as long as you set initial video out to PCI-E (not auto).

I have no idea what i did, but set bios to PCI-E, plugged both motherboard in and video card into monitor.  CGminer and Diablominer both hash with APU.  Getting a total of 948mh/sec 417watts at the wall.

Undervolted 7970 .95v  925/1375  (cant get memory to downclock)
stock volt 850/300 5870

I hope someone can help with this, i havent been able to figure it out.  The only way i can get my APU to mine is set graphics in bios to onboard then plug monitor into it, the problem with this is then i cannot adjust any overclocks, volts, etc for my video cards because the onboard 6550 screws up all the 3rd party software (trixx, msi afterburner, ati catalyst is totally disabled too.  Right now i have monitor plugged into both motherboard and 7970, bios set to PCI-E)

my 7970 runs extremely hot, so right now im using MSI afterburner to undervolt it to .93V @ 925mhz
