My personal view is that the mining companies should only accept bitcoins!
Companies with pre-orders should take credit cards, paypal or escrow transactions. Companies that ship out right away are better with Bitcoin.
After my BFL experience no more pre-orders unsecured for me. I paid for Bitfury with CC and it worked out great. I am buying Antminers with BTC and ditto.

(MAT) who announced in February it would be one of the first companies to bring several new Bitcoin Asic miners and Scrypt ASIC miners for Dogecoin, Auroracoin, Feathercoin, Litecoin and other scrypt cryptocurrencies into the market, today announced it would begin taking pre-orders for their miners with only 35% deposit payment.
