Not hating on bluzelle. But doesn’t Siacoin already solve this?  Decentralized cloud storage. Plus look at its gains. Almost 1 bill$ market cap Now.  Talks of an asic coming soon I’d say there is some decent money behind this tech. Could def be a watcher.

Siacoin is like a dropbox. Bluzelle is rather a database. So something in common but I'd say that's 2 different things.

It appears that Bluzelle is focusing on Database instead of file storage. From page two of their whitepaper:

Quote
Just like decentralized services like Filecoin and Storj are needed for file storage & management;
there is a need for data storage & management. Bluzelle is a decentralized, on-demand, scalable
database service for dApps.

I don't think this is mineable. I may be wrong but I had a onceover and I don't see it.

I haven't mined bitcoin before, as it isn't feasible. I haven't mined any altcoins either. However, I am hoping to mine Bluzelle, which is a coin soon to be released in an ICO. Essentially it is for decentralized data storage and management.

Where can I go to start learning about how to mine a coin like this, and what type of hardware/software I might need? Do any of you have advice before I start prepping to mine?

I don't see any mention of mining on the Bluzelle website nor the whitepaper:

Perhaps try joining their Slack channel and ask them directly:

Did you try Google?

This thread is the first result. Not that much info on what steps I need to take to mine a coin of this type.
