I got some of doubts cleared here, but still can we trust coin-hive.com.  Is it possible for a site to get that much of alexa rank in just 28 days.  Can you guys give some reviews on coin-hive.com.  I can trust both freebitco and moonbitco, but no idea about coin-hive.com.

With coin-hive.com you are mining Monero, Monero use an algorithm that can be mined with CPU. You can't mine BTC with CPU, just with ASICs.

You're part right. You can mine BTC with a CPU, GPU or FPGA, it just hasn't been profitable to do so for many a long year.

I'm pretty sure that freebitco.in are mining XMR as well but they haven't made any official announcement.

Antivirus flags most genuine mining software as malicious as it's often planted without the user's knowledge to steal processing power. I'd guess from what you have said that freebitco.in may have written their own which is unknown to the antivirus yet.

It would have been nice if they had made an announcement explaining how it works, then people would be less suspicious. It's my guess that Wetsuit would have done his own implementation front end and back rather than pointing at someone else's but I don't really know.

I thought I would get a quick reply here, but so far no reply from anybody.  Can someone just give some reply to prove that its not unsafe.  I need to be sure before going further in this thing.

There's already this thread on it https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/freebitcoin-browser-mining-is-it-worth-it-2194276

Also, it's been discussed a lot on both freebitco.in threads in micro earnings and gambling boards.

I've been testing it just running at 20% in the background while I'm using the PC for other things and I think it's perfectly safe.

Thanks for reply, actually I am not having much problem with freebitco as my antivirus does not show anything suspicious on opening it with mining on, but antivirus does not allow moonbitco mine and always shows its a threat and the threat base as per antivirus is HEUR:Trojan script.Generic and object is http://moonbit.co.in/js/coinhive.min.jshttps://coin-hive.com/ is mining XMR and as I see its alexa rank is 219320 which is quite high for a site which is just launched 28 days ago that makes my doubts a little strong.

Freebitco is already mining coins with hardwares so they might have their own softwares for that, but moonbit is just using this coin-hive.com for that so they are not really doing it, they are just using a third party for that.

Moonbitco.in and Freebitco.in and one other site that I know are giving option of mining.  Moonbitco.in is using https://coin-hive.com/ for that mining using our CPU power and I am not sure about freebitco.in, dont know what software of site they are using.  Everytime I open moonbitco.in my Kaspersky antivirus shows a dangerous software being downloaded to my computer and it has been stopped as these kind of software are used for stealing information from computer and might harm my computer or steal information.  It also shows a trojan virus in it and also I found an article about just same thing which was written years ago.  So was just wondering if its safe or not.

Should we use that https://coin-hive.com/ service for mining coins or implementing mining thing on faucets or websites without any threat to our user's information or CPU.

Got this article on google from 2013 that was saying that these mining software just turns our computers into slave of miners.
