I think you need to also incorperate some allowance for increasing difficulty, Like the other site's "Profitability decline per year" factor.

Good point. Is there a fixed time when the difficulty re-adapts? E.g.: every 2 days or so? Or is it rather random?

nice spreadsheet.

there are some sites that provide raw ghash/price/break even calculators and another that shows hash per card but, nothing putting them together that i've seen.
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison#AMD_.28ATI.29
and
http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/

the sad part that your chart shows is that none of these solutions show a break even of less than 6months. hopefully we'll have affordable ASIC's in a few months that could beat the projections on your chart.

I think you need to also incorperate some allowance for increasing difficulty, Like the other site's "Profitability decline per year" factor.

Hi everybody,

I just started getting active with bitcoins a couple of days ago.
Made various calculations and bought a testing card and have a few upcoming Projects,
such as the Stealth Mining Project.

I also made a nicely customizeable Excel file (created with MsOffice).

The only thing you will have to do is:
* Pick your Electricity Price
* Pool Fee
* and select the mining card.
* (also some other options, such as pool hopping, altering difficulty and block reward, etc are available)

After that you see a list of outcomes with different szenarios. e.g.:
* 2 rigs, each 4 cards
* 5 rigs, each 6 cards
* ...

So I have uploaded the document on various Mirrors for you to have a look at
