Luke memorycoin on CPU and litecoin on GPU?
yes you can, just have to make sure you leave 1 or 2 cpu cores for scrypt mining on a dedicated box.
I'm mining scrypt coin and cpu coin at the same time but only using 6cores for cpu mining on a fx8350.
Thanks for the response! So how exactly do you create a dedicated box for scrypt mining? I'm a bit of a noob haha dcan you point me in the right direction so I can learn how to do this haha
just leave the box to mine and do not use if for surfing net, word processing etc. so for 24/7/365 all it does in run the mining app
Just have OS installed and just the drivers to get your pc running - having minimum services running in the background to have machine running the mining app.

ok I see what you are saying thanks!
hey do you happen to know if amd or itel cpus are better for mining cpu coins? Is it just dependent on the number of cores a cpu has or something else?
doesnt really matter which brand - just depends how powerful your cpu is,
The more powerful the better, but the more cores the better, advantage is that you 7/8 vs 3/4 ie have a higher percentage of the cpu mining
http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html
eg fx8350 will get you 100khs per core and have 8 core
where as an intel i5 4470 will get you 150kh/s per core and have only 4 core
and a E5 2690 will only get you 60khs per core, but you have 32 of them in a dual cpu setup.
