I think your best bet would be to buy the dip right now.
The price will probably continue to drop in this current bear market.

Thank you so much guys. So, if I but an ASIC litecoinpool.org would do the trick for DOGE? I haven't found any info about how to swap from LTC to DOGE.

mine at viabtc

it pays both ltc and doge

these are good

https://www.ebay.com/itm/324616681185?

but at that price I would just buy the doge.

note I just googled on ebay I have no idea who the seller is.

Yes but it needs to be a Scrypt ASIC and not Sha256 ASIC which is for Bitcoin. So needs to be an Antminer L3 or similar. Make sure the algo is for Scrypt. You merge mine with LTC so basically you get paid both in LTC and DOGE at the same time. You don't need to swap LTC to Doge. The way it works is if the hash you found is a block for both chains you get rewarded for both.

Keep in mind if you buy an old Scrypt ASIC it might consume more electricity than it gives in revenue, so make sure you do your research and use a mining calculator at least and put in your power costs.

Since you got a GPU, just mine ETH and sell ETH for Doge.

Dogecoin is merge mined so the hashrate is insane and thats using ASICS.  If you are trying to mine doge with a card its completely pointless, don't plan on mining much if any at all.  Pretty much every big pool mining litecoin is merge mining doge.  I would recommend trying to mine a gpu algorithm coin so that you at least have a shot at roi one day.

Been seeing a few posts on the rise about people trying to get ways to set up to their equipment to mine doge. The truth is mining coins that use scrypt algorithm like Doge using CPU or GPU is a total waste of time even if you are just trying to learn.

It's been Obsolete for a number of years since ASICs came into play so why bother even learning if you only have CPU or GPU  Wink

maybe you can pick up something from this thread;

I found over the internet that it is possible to mine DOGE from litecoinpool.org, I've been testing mining procedures with cpuminer 2.3.2 (I know it is a waste of resources, but I'm just testing) however I haven't found any info about how to set up the miner to start mining DOGE.

Also, I'd like to use GPU to mine, but CUDAminer github main branch has been abandoned since the CUDA 5.5 release (Right now its on 11.X). Any suggestion about two two topics?

The command I'm using is

./minerd --algo=scrypt --url=stratum+tcp://us.litecoinpool.org:3333 --userpass=MYUSER:MYPASS
