I don't know how you had phoenix working... , so I don't know what you did wrong.
But Phoenix is an etash miner for GPU  not a cpu miner.

For using your tool at best, you need to use a cpuminer.

go to moneroocean and install their xmrig miner.
It  will help you decide which algoritm does fit better with your cpu by benchmarkig and autoswitching the miner in the most convenient pool( of theirs) and you will be paid in monero

Yeah since most of us  do not mine cpu for eth.

We mine cpu for xmr.

I agree he should mine xmr and see if it makes more money.

what is your target ? learning, $$$ as possibile or ?

I have two Azure subcriptions with 300 USD. What I want is to take advantage of them and get the best economic return from them

with this Standard NV6_Promo (6 vcpus, 56 GiB memory) with Tesla M60 I can only get 2.669 MH / s

Perhaps Im doing something wrong

Yes, sorry is 2.669 MH / s

Is too low

Any ideas?

No since most of us use GPUS and or asics to mine ETH I frankly do not know what a cpu should do. Do you have any info on what that setup should do?

Maybe just maybe try mining monero/xmr with it.

I have a threadripper 3970 it does 27,000kh for xmr. which is around 3 dollars a day.

see what you get mining xmr .

BTW 27 thousand kh = 27,000kh as taught to me in USA math.  But then again we still use feet and yards. Grin

I think he means 2 MH/s. That's about what I would expect from trying to mine ETH with a CPU. Europeans use a comma as a decimal separator instead of a point.

Hello how are you? I created a virtual machine on azure Windows (Windows Server 2019 Datacenter) - Standard NV6_Promo (6 vcpus, 56 GiB memory) and I am using PhoenixMiner 5.5c for ETH.

I installed the Nvidia Tesla M60 drivers

I use the following command:
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool ssl: //eu1.ethermine.org: 5555 -pool2 ssl: //us1.ethermine.org: 5555 -wal XXXXXX.txmd

The problem that only gives me 2,669 MH / s

Do I need to do something?

Thanks

Okay that is about 270-300 a day in earnings.

what did you think you should get with that rig?
