I am a senior at an IB school in Italy. I was asked to bring up a project to develop the school and create profit in a sustainable way. The idea is to make an investment for solar panels on the roof to sustain a room of anti miners maybe s9. The panels could be reused in the long run to reduce the school's electricity cost while the daily income of the miners could go to fund medical research and give primary education to children around the world. The point is that I am unsure of what to mine and how this would come along.

The effort you are trying is really good and mining is the best platform in bitcoin to make money. I am sure you can able to utilize atleast 500 USD per month that is the case is about. If you are going for antminer s9 then bitcoin mining is also possible with the high range of hash rate which can produce by that. Since you are getting free electricity from the solar panels you will able to make the more money than the commercial miners. If you have doubt you can search about that in forum or using Youtube videos.
