Try to user risers as well for that card. If it still doesn't work, switch the risers between them or try new risers.

I'm using windows, 6 gpu's on the same board (ASROCK H81 PRO BTC) and it's working perfectly.

Good luck

Got it, it was the riser!!

What also threw me off, was that ETHOS was saying that card 1,3,4,5,6 were working, so I assumed that corresponded to the PCI slot... But it didn't!  It was actually the PCIE-1 slot card that wasn't working...

Now have all 6 mining perfectly!

Thank you guys for the help!

Try to exchange and connect GPU 2 on the motherboard then put the other gpu on the other psu

Sorry, not sure I understand exactly...  Connect GPU 2 to a different PCI-E?

For that motherboard, it can recognise 5 GPUs. But it will have code 43 error if you have 6 GPU. You need 6 GPU mod.

The one not being picked up, is connected together with the motherboard on the psu?

No, it's connected to the other PSU which is only powering 3 cards, nothing else...

And it's weird because PCIE 1,3,4,5,6, are showing... What is labeled as PCIE2 is the 16x slot, but my monitor is plugged into that card but it's not showing as an active mining card...

Bumping in case anyone has anything else lol

You need to reduce the voltage in the bios. a 390 can pull 300 watt each.

300 * 6 = 1800watt. (won't work on a 1300W psu)

You have 2 psu's. But you can mod the card to use 180watt each with a bios mod. Then you can run 6x 390 on a single 1300w psu

If you get code 43 errors there is a registry patch on the net you can run. (Run the exe as administrator, check the mod registry checkbox and click mod )

Well, I'm sorry I forgot to mention I am running EthOS...

Also, I'm hashing on 5 of the cards...  I have 3GPU's on 1 PSU and 3 on the other, so it should be fine right?

Hello,

I have the following:

ASRock H81 PRO BTC Motherboard
6x MSI R9 390 8GB GPU's
8GB DDR3 RAM
2x EVGA Supernova 1300 watt PSU

Wondering if anyone has had issues with not being able to mine on all 6 cards...  I can mine 5 with no problem, but it won't recognize the 6th card.

It's showing GPU 1,3,4,5,6 but not 2... However GPU 2 should be the 16x PCIE Slot, which is what my monitor is plugged into which works, so not sure why it's not recognizing it as a mining GPU.

Anyone had this issue?

I have changed PCIE to Gen 1 in the BIOS already also.
