Yeah well it did got back to normal 27 after a reset !!! On pool wasnt much of a difference. and i guess it was a bug ! but the weird thing is that the rig was using 30w more then usual on that bug !!! so the bug was coordinated with the Watt usage  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Funny thing is that when i reset it all went back to normal ! from 191mh total on the rig to 170 !!! just lost 21mh  Wink Cheesy Grin

I believe in miracles , but not when its a reference card rx 480 with shitty cooling  Grin

This is a bug I don't believe that this is not a bug the hashrate can increase sometimes if your internet is slow or cdc.
There's no miracle here just wait for 1 day and you will see that the hashrate is just a bug.
I had RX 470 and 570 but my hashrate never reach around 46.9 mh/s.

I felt super agree with this two reply post:

Whatever you do to the card , the maximum hashrate of the rx 480 can be about 31.8mhs and anything above that seriously risks to burn the card.

Make sure you retract the GPU and wipe it and remodify the BIOS in order to prevent any permanent damage to the GPU.

I've never use SMOS, even I don't really know hows it works, from what I saw (at your pics), report and monitoring were in a web-based system, that's giving you more reason that glitch possible between client and server (Correct me if I'm wrong). imho

Back here cause I see an update on this thread, then curious to check back your picture. This is my suggestion (out off topic, indeed), may you need to blurring your sensitive info such as email address that shown in your picture above.  Smiley

Merit me or don't.
Had R9 380 that I tried to flash. Flashed the card with new BIOS and booted the rig, everything worked fine. Started up Claymore ETH miner and I'm was seeing a hashrate of 52 Mh/s from my newly flashed R9 380 Grin. Felt good man.

But of course it was a glitch and true hashrate was around 20 Mh/s.

Always the way ey?

Best way is to check using Ethermine or a pool of somekind that shows "effective hashrate" then they will know for sure.

Definitely a bug in between your GPU or the SimpleMining OS.

Make sure you retract the GPU and wipe it and remodify the BIOS in order to prevent any permanent damage to the GPU.

It is just a glitch of your software mainly and a badly done bios modification. And 27mhs is too little to be a good hashrate for a rx 480 8gb, you can easily reach 30-31mhs with that card and a good bios modification.

I have one same experience with my Power Color RX 470 mining edition (Red Dragon - 4GB), before. The card was modded, It happen before I OCing this card. Using Claymore (mine ETH), it was a flash increase (even I didn't have enough time to take a picture) to 58, but after few second going down to normal hashes. More like a glitch in software nor hardware for me.

yeah but not when its all night like that and play around 46.89 to 46.91 !!! WTF ! glitch you say (-: its simple miner using claymore ofcourse

I said flash (short time - in a second) increase (mine), and I was using Claymore, then glitch (Software nor Hardware) refer to my condition. I didn't tell yours as a glitch cause have enough time to take a picture. As you said your card hashed around 46.89 to 46.91 may you are lucky, one in a million.

Is your card still hashed around 46.89 to 46.91 (atm)? If that holds out in the long-term, it's more like a miracle. (same as your post title.)

You should look at your hashrate reported from pool.

Ah..this is a good idea.

that's not possible. it's a bug when you overclock too much.

are you trolling or what?

No i even underclock you can see at the picture the clock speeds !! and i undervolt !!

probably a bug ! cant see really a real speed at nanopool since the 2 rigs are shown together as Average Hashrate
for last 6 hours but not on Last Reported Hashrate.

Check pool stats in and you'll see hashrate that is lower by 16 mh/s that you seeing at your dashboard.

No idea what was happened with your rig, this is amd. I noticed that with amd cards can happened anything.
so it might be a bug of miner or bug in the driver.. but physically that kind of speed is not possible with rx470/480 .. so.. I don't know)

Hello guys i just witness a miracle in mining ! and i still cant believe my eyes !

I own and run 3 GPU mining rigs

1.Rig x6 KFA 1070GTX

2.Rig x7 Rx Sapphire Nitro 580 8Gb

3.Rig Mixed Rx 470/480/570 i bought of different places and people !!!

The miracle is that on the 3rd rig the card Reference RX 480 8GB start working on 46.9mh and its still running !!!

using an extra 30w on that rig what actually happen is that i decided its time to air clean all the rigs and even move them to a cooler bigger space in the house , so i did , after cleaning them and plugging all of them back together i noticed a weird and miracle kind of bug on the rx 480 , using simple miner software i start seeing that that card reading is 46.9mh !!! yeah i couldnt and still cant believe my eyes , a freakin old 480 reference with shit cooling and usualy the hottest (73-76c) is now giving that speed with no stop !!! still working for the last 2 hours stable.

i attached a picture of my simple miner -} https://i.imgur.com/tjpbWIU.png

is anyone every witness such a thing Huh and if i would only knew how that happen i will just do it to all my cards (-: haha
