Well, if you're using different miners on your cards, can you be sure all of them number the cards the same way?
You can use Nicehash GUI, bench every card with a different algorithm. and leave a 3rd card with no bench algorithm if you want to use your 3rd card for solo mining.
Yes you can mine with that. You can mine several pools with your card.

I'm specifically leaving this not so clear so that you learn something and read up on how to set up your miners and failover pools.. If I tell you the answer you've learned nothing other than to copy and paste.. So In summary, yes you can mine 50+ pools with your cards you just have to tell them how you want their hashrate distributed.

I'm currently building my fist mining rig, with 2 R9 280x cards. I wanted to know if its possible to have both cards mining separate coins? For example, I have one card mining at a auto-switching pool, while the other card is mining some new coin solo.
Also, if I were to add 2 more cards to this, then have 3 cards at the pool, while one card mines a coin solo.
Is this possible?
