Should work fine, just configure the miner to not use the card you're gaming on.

Nicehash pays out in BTC but it pays you for hashrate on many different algorithms.

You're mining an Alt (Eth?) and they're paying you in BTC, correct?

This is best asked in the Alt Coin section.

Why do you think you're doing great on nicehash using a GPU to mine BTC??

Hello! Smiley for the past few months i have been mining bitcoin on nicehash, been going great for me, luckily i didnt have anything on nicehash when it got hacked Smiley -

Currently i have a highend gaming pc with a gtx 1080 paired with a i7 6600k.
i was wondering if i could purchase a new Graphics card lets just say a GTX 1060 6gb which i then would use for gaming while i still would be mining on my gtx 1080. would that work?? because currently while im mining with the 1080 i can bearly use the computer as it obviously is stressing the gpu.

So what im asking - can i be gaming on a 1060 meanwhile my 1080 is mining??? I've got a 750W Psu im pretty sure it can handle a 1060?
