I have a single 7950 card in my gaming rig, and can only mine occasionally. Do you guys think its more profitable to mine, or to just do faucets every day?

Also, do you guys get a lot of payout from faucets? I'm kind of wary because I've been doing them for a few days and haven't gotten any payouts yet.

Thanks!

Tell us clock speed and cache of your card or hash rate of your card to explain whether it is profitable or not. Esle tleast brand and model will give clear information about it explain the profit you can make.
You cannot do anything with own your electricity cost for running a PC take more money than your earning. Go with the complete rig set up to make money. Faucets are pennies not can be compare with mining.

Hello. Electricity bill is not a big deal to me since Im using our company's electricity and computers. I just want to know if mining using a basic specs of computer can make me earn bigger than faucets? I dont have high specs of pc and my pc dont have gpu. I can only mine from cpu. Im using minergate but I think will take me forever to earn a dollar Sad

then i think you can buy gpu to start mining with minergate because you can have more option to mining the coins. beside that, your hashrate will become bigger if you use gpu and your pc is not going to hot. before you buy gpu, make sure you have good power supply at least more than 500watt.

The point of faucets is to get website owners money through advertising. It's not worth the work of clicking captchas for a tiny reward, I wouldn't even use em if you want some coins to play with (testnet is there for that reason). It's the ultimate waste of time, except you get paid a few hundredths of a cent per site for your effort.

Mine ZEC with your GPU. You will make like $1.25/day

With faucets you will maybe make like 1.25cents/day.

The card you have is very efficient at mining Monero and I would say is one of the few options to mine with that card together with Zcash. Faucets don't give you anything, unless you click a faucet rotator all day without stopping and still it's nothing substantial. I would stick to mining Monero with that card. I would use Nicehash which is a software that mines automatically what you tell it and pays you directly in bitcoin.

I think Mining is way better than Faceting. mining is a good investment. i advise you to try mining because it is profitable.
all you should do is to look for the right mining machine.

You won't get much from faucet. I've tried faucets myself couple of years ago out of curiosity and I can tell that you may get few sats everyday. You may get a payout when the payout limit reached (say 100 sats for example ). But if you can do mining with reasonable hashing and power cost then you will certainly make more than faucets for sure lol  Grin

If the profitability is small, just take note it might take a long time for you to hit the minimum amount required to reach the payout when you join a pool.

If the work of the card does not bother you and the profit is higher than the price for electricity, then let it work why not. On some algorithms 7950 is quite good.

The better you need to use that capital to do the mining because even if the capital will be spent small or large but the profits are likely will be able to be produced only with a relatively short period of time. the sign is enough to stay home and increase some types of tools technology in running the mining system later.

I have been doing faucets sometime last year and it see good to me from beginning but when I caculate my cost and  earned I have to change my mind about it. However, mining is better than  faucets as if you get good capital you will make good money, the only thing I have see hard in mining is electricity.

You need to mine and join a pool.  Faucets will take you forever to reach one whole one quantity of the type of coin you want.  These faucets sometimes do not pay and you have to click multiple ads just to get to the facuet payout.  Mining is guaranteed least you will get paid even if it is a fraction of the coin.

Probably you can mining with your hardware because faucet is not profitable now and take a long time.

I find your question very strange especially comparing mining to faucets. Just my opinion, most of the faucets I've known turns out scam. If not, then you will take eternally to withdraw your earnings if you do it manually and without referrals. Another thing about faucets is that you would only earn cents without that much referrals. The only good thing or PRO that I see in faucets is you can do it for FREE as long you have an internet.

If you could only specify the current setup that you have, I can able to forecast or suggest a good coin to mine. I guess thats an outdated video card so my suggestion is invest on a new mining setup with updated cards if you are looking for profitability.

Probably joining a pool and mining. Faucets literally give out very little and aren't worthwhile. But even then your mining rig isn't very good for mining Bitcoin
