If you just plan to mine and dump though, your better off turning off your miners or mining Bitcoin, depending on
your electricity cost.

I tried one coin and gave away 40% of what I mined (way more than the rest of the network combined) because of shares and fees.
If you do it, do it solo! That way, when you drive the difficulty up and the value down, you have something to show for it.

You can mine any other SHA256 coins but the profitability will be the same or lower. Everybody else is pretty much thinking the same as you.
Now that S7 is unproductive in bitcoin fairy tale. 
The Block reward drop and dificulty raise didnt occured other coins,so mining them could be more productive!!?
