Hello,

Is it a problem to request deposits to bittrex wallet instead of altcoin's own wallet ?

Thanks

Only minimum threshold is issue with any coin exchange. if you fine with it then no issue at all.

Many people do that, anyway generally this should not be done.
Mainly because the exchange can credit your coins only when they reach a determined amount (for example poloniex shows ETH deposits only where they are more than 1ETH)

If you are mining any scamcoin for a few days it's not a big deal, but if you like that coins you should void keep it on the exchange, indpendently on the credit strategiy

AFAIK, Polo on ETH is the ONLY exchange that does that - and it's easily worked around by just setting your payout threshold to 1 ETH or higher on your pool.

I don't recommend using Polo for anything though, they've had WAY too many issues this year and STILL haven't resolved most of them.

Few exchanges out there actually don't accept payments from pools. Or at least they say so.

POLO or POLINIEX   still has yet to answer me no less fix  a missing 1.52 ETC deposit of mine.

I like bittrex  i have mined directly to addresses located with them.

I've been doing this for the last year to both Poloniex and Bittrex.  I've had zero issues and it dramatically simplifies things when mining many different coins.  You don't have to maintain wallets for each coin and can quickly sell or switch them to a more preferred coin.  They also handle keeping the wallet software up to date as well.  If you are just mining Eth, I can see mining to a local wallet but even then, I'd just mine it to Coinbase.

One warning, is to always use a pool for mining that you send to exchanges.  They usually have warnings about mining directly to an exchange wallet when in solo mode.

Otherwise, mine away . . . there's little to no risk involved.

I have never had a problem depositing directly int a exchange account. Just set some bigger treshold to avoid spam and you are good to go.
