I have started mining with Sapphire Dual-X R9 270 (135€).

I could reach 440kh/s with 1040/1500. Fan on 40% still silent.

Mining scrypt currencies with two Sapphire 280Xs . Right now going on 760kh/s per gpu. If you have same hw feel free to PM me for hints.

USB Asic Miner Red Fury bitcoin miner 2.4-2.9 GH/s seems to work pretty well so far.

+1 get the 270X if $225 is your budget.  It should get you ~450 kh/s which can get you some altcoins if you jump in a pool.

This is what im mining on right now:
mobo: asus asus fm2 f2a85-m le
ram 4gb
cpu amd - a10
gpu Radeon HD 7770
I have additional 225$ that i can spend on gpu.
i would greatly appriciate any advice greatly.
