Hi, I hope I don't break any rules by creating a new topic for this. I want to invest 1500 euro (1700usd)  in a mining rig. I would like to hear if someone has suggestions about the timing. And here are the components tha I can get in germany for that money.

GPU: 6GB MSI GeForce RTX 2060 VENTUS ( X2 )
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM
PSU: 1200 Watt be quiet! PSU
M: MSI B450-A Pro MAX AMD AM4
CPU: AMD Athlon 3000G 2x 3.50GHz
SSD: SSD 120GB

Thank you for reading this, and your time. I really appreciate it! Thanks.

How much do you pay for a kilowatt of electricity?
If it is free or very cheap, and for you this is a small amount, then you can invest in mining.
If I were you, I would wait a few months and for that price you can buy more graphics cards if you want.

Keep your money for now, bear market is slowly getting stronger what I'm seeing now is bull trap many will believe that market will recover but they will end up trapped just like 2018, wait for some time GPUs will get cheaper soon I'm also waiting, looking forward to expand my mining farm

do you mine as a hobby or for profit? curious to understand your view on invest in mining versus buy BTC and hold, would you mind sharing your views?

The timing might be tricky. If I were you, I would wait a little longer before I decide to buy. As we speak, altcoin prices are already dropping and so are the mining reward, including the most profitable of them all, ETH.

It could turn out to be a very bad investment if you bought the equipment right now at a very high price, only for the market to keep dropping lower and lower in the coming months.

Thank you, I will think about that! Cheers
