Have you tried installing another driver for your ethernet adapter?

I have not but the internet is working with SMOS now and I'm pretty happy with SMOS overall, I just need to get the 4th card to work

I had no luck with nvoc (couldnt even get it to run)

I switched back to a newer SMOS and was able to connect and get mining again with 3 cards.  4th card is still just stuttering with fans and not detected

Hello all, long time reader first time poster.  What a great community!  Any pointers here would be greatly appreciated

SPECS:

MoBo: MSI z270a pro
GPU: 4x 1070ti SC
PSU: 2x EVGA 650W P2
CPU: Intel G4400 3.3ghz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8gb DDR4 2400mhz
4x Mintcell pci riser

The story so far: I was hashing away at ~1500 sol/s on 1x PSU, 3x GPU using Simple Mining/flypool for zcash.
Added 4th 1070ti gfx card and 2nd PSU using ADD2PSU

Both PSU's power up and fans spin as intended.  All 4 gpus light up but 4th ones fans only stutter and this gpu is not recognized by SimpleMiner OS

Mobo LAN port light not lighting up and SMOS not connecting

I have tried the following to no avail:

-resetting router
-flashed msi BIOS to latest
-different LAN cable
-different port on router
-going back to original hardware config (still no LAN)
-going down to 1 or 2 cards
-switching video cards around

I am planning to try a different version of Linux and if LAN still not working I will try a external lan port

Anything I can try to fix it tonight (and without purchasing a USB lan port) would be amazing! Cheers to 2018
