Topic: Mining Rig Random Shutdown/Crashes (Read 2540 times)
^ Problem solved. Whenever the TV goes to sleep.. it crashes the rig.. for some strange reason.
I have a rig setup with (3) 6870 using cgminer 3.1.0, Catalyst 12.6 and SDK 2.7. After an hour or so, the rig randomly shuts off. I don't think it's an overheat issue since the cards were at 70c-74c prior to the crash. I'm also using VGA dummy plugs on 2 cards while the main one is hooked up to my TV via HDMI. The dummy plugs are wired correctly with the 68ohm resistors, otherwise it wouldn't even pick up the cards in the first place. I know I'm being vague here with the issue but there isn't an error log I can go by either. I was wondering if other people had same or similar issues as me?
