The reason for the false positives when dealing with Mining software, is because of all the people that have created Malware in the past which secretly turns peoples computers into mining machines by installing mining software in the background.  As a result, when an Anti-virus or Anti-Malware program sees mining software it throws a code, and its up to you to decide if it is supposed to be there or not.

But in any case, always verify your sources.

Unfortunately this is the case because black hats know that people will download then without checking if they're authentic and just run them. Always make sure you're using a valid source to download from. Don't just trust any random download out there. People know there is crypto fever now and tons of amateurs will try to run with it. ALWAYS TAKE PRECAUTIONS. Also, alot of antivirus programs will flag legitimate miners as bad aswell. Do research to be safe.

Can you give the name of the mining software did you use..
because there are software that actually contains  trojan virus or malware and possible could hack your account or bitcoin..
There are sometimes falls positive. But if you can give us the  name of the software and where did you download the file maybe we can give you the exact reason why ..

a. Learn how to use a Forum. This is a software question and belongs in the software section.
b. Learn how to ask proper questions: Name of the software you looked at?
c. Learn about computers in general. Good that you pay attention to malware warnings but - also know that some anti-virus programs automatically flag ALL mining software as suspicious even the the software is perfectly clean. They do this because *some* malware will use the code to run mining in the background so to be maximum 'safe' it is flagged.

Only download software - ANY software - only from official sources. If you trust the source then Virus warnings are *probably* false. CGminer, BFGminer and others are clean when downloaded from the Authors pages.
