Happy New year 🤗
If you are planning to run this in your home, I don't think you need extra equipment to run 1 unit Bitmain is selling a hydrocooling miner, which is noiseless, and plugnplay but the only problem is that in Australia, the standard outlet amp for home is around 10amp or 15amp. So running hydro cooling units like Bitcoin Miner S21+ Hyd is a bit power hungry; you will need to hire an electrician to do a 30amp outlet or above, depending on the unit you want to run. Just take note that newer units are power hungry, so the standard house amperage is not enough to run these units properly.

Have you read the sticky thread? If not better read them first, start from this: "First time/Small miner reference for getting started."

Good morning everyone! If I wanted to start mining in Australia, what would be the costs and equipment needed? I'm looking to start a little venture for the future but I have no clue. Thanks in advance

You should look at the cost of ASICs (and where you can buy without getting ripped off, don't forget the import taxes), how to cool them (you said you're located in Australia), what is the cost of your kw/h and electricity contract etc. It's all a matter of scale, prices varies according to the situation.

Such a vast question can't be answered precisely. This forum is full of info, just have a look around and take the time to read.
