You gotta hack those bios memory straps and you'll get 31MH/s and you also gotta dual mine with SIA.

Don't mine ZEC with that GPU.

haha thats what i thought right away when i saw "25mh/s" too Cheesy

@OP  you REALLY wanna mod those bios' and undervolt, you will see big improvement not only in hash but using less watts as well! Smiley

You dont wanna mine Zcash because it's Nvidia dominated, there's really no point and more profitable things to mine for your specific card
Usually ETH, its so damn high in price! haha
Also play the smaller daggercoins you can make more as well

Dual mining causes more heat and wear and tear than its worth basically (most people, i included feel)

wouldn't moding bios void my warranty?
I'll stop mining ZEC and dual to see if there would be any changes in my avg 24 hrs
For other daggercoins you mean EXP, UBQ?

Yes it voids warranty but most flash back to stock when they RMA it

If i restore bios to org IF i needed to RMA they wouldn't know?

No, it doesn't flag if bios was overwritten or anything. And on some GPUs they offer firmware upgrades also.

Thanks all for sharing their thoughts.
@iamnoobplzhelp
My power Corsair AX 1500 and my cards are seated on the mobo directly.

@TimeTeller
Thank you for sharing that

@adaseb
why shouldn't i mine ZEC ? i am seeing good progress on it

I am dual mining ETH+SIA and i'm afraid to touch my bios cause i don't want to void the cards warranty.

Mining strategies are a dime a dozen and what works for one will not work for another.
I prefer to mine the stable and solid.

Dual mining usually takes significantly more power. Just be sure that your risers and power supplies are up to the job.

Only you can answer that question. It really comes down to what do you think would be worth more?

My money is on ETH.
I think this way if zec price rise my earnings will rise too

How about dual mining eth with sia?

Cryptocompare says it will be profitable

Hi

The following is my rig:

VGA: 3 x Asus rx 480 8gb - no mod
Mobo: Asus Z170

currently, i am getting around 25 MH from each card for ether and around 300 sol for zcash
I keep switching from ether to zcash and from zcash to ether every 48 hours.
Do you think that this is a good idea? or i should keep mining ether until they switch to PoS?
What other coins can i mine with my rig?

thanks in advance.

For the 480, it is better to run the ETH. It is generally more profitable.
