TL;DR: Bitcoin Unlimited are researching large blocks and managed to mine a 1GB block on one of their testnets.

Well, if this comes true then we can say goodbye to "regular home nodes"  Cheesy.
Where the hell we supposed to store the blockchain with such blocks (the current blockchain size bugs me and was forced to buy new HDD for it).

hey guys.. is it true that Gigablock Testnet Researchers Mine the World’s First 1GB Block?  this is a good news for us and will help us to invest more on mining. some people think that it is really hard to mine but this news can be inspiring isn't it?
