S9 is the best mining tools now in the market and purchase it with free electricity will make you good money. I think in the next three years S9 will still be relevant. I don't know how much you can make in a month but if electricity is out of your cost of operation you should be in serious profits.

"STAY IN THE DARK"

Hi all,
I want to know if it is profitable anymore to mine with Antminer S9. I am thinking of buying 2 S9s. I have access to free electricity. How much do you think I will make in a month per miner? One more question, the Bitmain Antminer S9 has been out for more than a year, is there a better machine coming out soon? Will the S9 become outdated soon?
Thanks in advance to all the members.

I heard S9 miners are the best miner available to mine bitcoins, and half of your earnings in mining process will go to the electricity bill if you have free electricity the you can have huge profits,I think one miner can give profits upto $1500 because you have free electricity so it is good to go with two S9 miners.Maybe a miner will replace the S9 miner but currently it is the best miner.

Thank you all for your expert opinions and replies. Really appreciate it. I want to ask for one more advice, as we know if I buy the S9 from bitmain today, I will get them in 2-3 months, what is your advice should I buy the miners or should I invest the money to buy the 2 miners in buying Bitcoin directly? Which option do you guys think will be more profitable. I have also heard that Bitmain ships miners but not the PSUs on time. Is that true?

hi you will make this amount with s9 antminer
Duration   Estimated Earnings in BTC   Estimated Profit in USD
1 day   0.00248799   20.62
1 week   0.01741594   144.38
2 weeks   0.03483188   288.76
3 weeks   0.05224782   433.14
1 month   0.07463975   618.78

with only 1 miner so with 2 you will make in a month 1357.56usd

Like others here said, the Antminer S9 is currently the miner with the least days to break-even. So I think for mining, this one is actually the best choice you can make. The electricity being free is really favorable, at the current difficulty and price could you make break-even in less than 70 days with a revenue of $643.60. Which is really insane for an investment like this, also because after you have break-even you don't have any costs. Meaning all bitcoins you make after that period are profit, you could continue mining till the amount of Bitcoins you receive is negligible. But keep in mind that the difficulty fluctuates a lot and that the break-even estimation can be quite inaccurate. Bitmain has not announced a new miner yet, so I think you're fine.

All devices that are created will be surpassed.  Therefore, it is usually better to buy a newer device, because it has better performance

I am thinking about buy 2 S9 too, but the main enemy is the eletricity for me.
I was planning to do some 'free' eletricity too like solar panel systems, but it is expensive but must be worth in a long term.

Another problem is that S9 is too expensive and out of stock most of the time.

S9 is still the best miner for BTC. But if I were you, I'd mine Bitcoin Cash instead. Better payout.

People normally say that s9 antminer is really great but I have not tested it out

Yes all those mentioned is right because the users who tried the antminer s9 reported this hardware is high yielding miner in ASIC category. You should try it if you didn't yet.
If you can mine with the free electricity you are only person can make huge profit from the comparison of all bitcoin miners.

Antminer s9 is the best ASIC mining hardware right now so yes it is still profitable. When it comes to how much profit you will get in a month, it depends on how much hash power you have, the difficulty of mining, block reward you will receive from each block you mine and electricity but since you have access to free electricity forget about it. If I'm not mistaken one antminer s9 have 14 TH/s, use mining calculator to know how much you will get in a month use this https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-mining-calculator/
And you're right soon antminer S9 will be outdated because there will be more effective mining hardware to be released in the future.

Around how much would one antminer mine in btc in 1month with free electricity? I plan on investing on one too. Anyone have any idea?

S9 is the most efficient miner at the moment ( and most probably remain for a long time ... I would say few years).

And Yes. It is pretty profitable given the current BTC price. I will tell you: Go for it (but do not invest your life savings into .... things can always turn upside down unexpectedly)
