I run 3 CPU cores on other stuff on my 3 A10-7860K rigs (has 4 CPU cores) with no hashrate drop on Ethereum, *UNLESS* I'm folding on the 7860's GPU as well - then I have to drop to 2 cores doing other stuff or the Eth hashrate gets a noticeable hit some of the time.

I'm not sure what the firepro D700 equates out to in a "consumer" AMD card, but as long as it has at least 2 GB RAM and 512+ stream units, it SHOULD be profitable.

EthBits
With a 4-core CPU, I think you could use 2 of them without affecting your Ethereum performances, but with your setup, I have no idea.

yes i'm exactly doing this, but not the gpu thing, just gpu + cpu on hodl, 1840 is bad, probably 50hash, and you can not use the two core if you're mining with gpu, but you can with a stronger cpu

what about an i3 311om on hodl?

i can mine without problems with 3 core being used for hodl, if i use more i lose some hash on the gpu, but 3 is fine, but i have 4790k 4400 oc

Hello,

I tried to mine HODL and ETH simultanously, but noticed that even when i only use 2 (tried 2, 4, 6 and 8 cores) hodl-threads, it affects my eth-hashrate to go down significantly.

I'm running ethminer with two gpus (gtx960 & gtx970) on a win7 system with an i7-4771 (4 cores + HT) and 16GB RAM.

So be careful, cause even a potent CPU seems to have trouble mining anything besides hodl. At least on my system...

Greetings, djoser.

okay, i know its a low hash... but i have 6 rigs... what a hash you got with a i7 or i5? or what do you use? is there an calculator or something for hodl?

200(probably more because a bit more with oc) for a i7 4790 on hodl, 6 rig with celeron should do 1/4 of that because 2 core vs 8

Hi,
It's possible to mine with the GPU s more than one algo at the time? Let's say a 6GPU Rig,
4gpu ETH and 2 gpu Balcke256?

Also the CPU parallel Mining Hodl?

What is the Hasrate with a Celeron GT1840 at hodl?
