I have few water cooled rigs with 8x 1080Ti's and 8x RX Vega 64's in each loop. All of the cards are connected one after one.

Only use this pump: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-xtop-revo-dual-d5-pwm-serial-incl-2x-pump ! And a 250-400' reservoir like this: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/reservoirs/reservoirs/ek-res-x3-series .

Make sure you have a minimum of 1x 140 radiator surface per card, but more is better. I have connected all my rigs to 5x CE 560: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/radiators-fans/140mm-series-radiators/coolstream-ce-series with this fans: Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-3000 PWM, 140mm (NF-A14 PPC 3000 PWM). The fans are controlled by: https://shop.aquacomputer.de/product_info.php?products_id=3832&language=en

Such a rig produce nearly 4000 Watt heat, but temps are still fine. The radiators+fans are located outside since years without any trouble. In the summertime the cards running at 40-50C max, fans running at full speed. In the wintertime I disconnect the fans of 2 radiators completely and let the software control the temperatur to a minimum of 30C for each card.

BUT: BE 100% sure you can act very fast in wintertimes! If your internet connection drops and your cards are without any load, even with just the lowest fan speed they can be killed in minutes. I'm using T-Rex with the "--keep-gpu-busy" option and have set a few rules into my AwesomeMiner instances. Also got a second internet connection, just to be safe.

For your 10x 3090 setup such a config will work too. A single 3090 just consumes ~320W for 120+MH/s in ETH and 350-400W for other coins.

Are there all in one external water pump solutions that can handle more than one 3090 at a time? This would be about 10 or so Aorus Waterface 3090s. Or is it a better idea to convert them back to fan+heatsink configuration?

Yes, there are, but you'll reduce your ROI substancially.

Also consider to buy watercooled backplates for the 3090 cards, those GDDR6X memories are really toasty.  Grin

Why? He has this cards with an installed watercooler, so how will this reduce the ROI?

Buy an Mora Radiator and a waterpump with expansion tank. I think this will work. I saw many other watercooled rigs.

By the simple fact those cards are already more expensive than others.

How did you connect them? One after one...? 4 with a connector? It makes a difference how you connect.
One after one you need a typical pump. For other solutions go for high flow.
