Hi all.
There is a topic on Minter in the Announcements section,  however I would like us to dive deeper and get a broader picture as well.

We will try to get answers to any Minter-related questions. I work full-time, so I will not be able to be always online,  however I will pop up as I have time and update this topic and answer questions. I do not work for Minter and I am not in any way affiliated with Minter team. I am just ordinary user with my own projects launched and being launched on Minter.
Those who would like to support what I am doing are wellcome. You can find below my Minter wallet address,  as well as BTC/ETH.

I will try best to avoid emotional descriptions, will refer to facts and Minter docs/plans officially announced. I will appreciate your advising me how to make more sense.

A brief Minter overviewoverview and plans

Minter is a DPOS consensus blockchain. One gets coins (buys/creates), delegates them to a validator and in ~ 10 minutes (120 blocks) starts getting rewards. This is the way mining works in Minter.
The network provides instant transactions. As for now network capacity is 1000 transactions per block (5 sec). It is expected to hit 10k transactions per block in two years.

Minter's "Mbank" (or "liquidity provider") anticipated to be launched mid July is expected to provide direct BIP-BTC/ETH exchange. After a while BIP/fiat  is also expected.

Integration with Telegram Open Network is one of the main project tasks as TON goes live. It was announced that Minter coins could be transferred to TON blockchain and back to Minter. Minter is to use TON's smart contracts.

What to do?

Buy/create coins, delegate , get rewords. Launch your own project based on Minter.
Delegators get block rewards as well as part of transaction commissions.
Projects at this moment are being launched almost every day.
Minter's DAO supports promising projects. If you have an offline business,  think about ways you can add benefit to your customers using Minter blockchain. It's fast,  transaction costs for payments are well below $0.01.

Coins.

This is the most sophisticated part for a new user.

Delegators get rewards after getting coins and delegating them. If one buys a coin that is rising in price, he will get increasing rewards.
However,  keep in mind that coin price may go down as well.
If you aim at investing into faster growing coins,  then use coins with CRR 50%.
If you want a stable stake it is preferrable to buy and delegate coins with CRR 70-85. It is possible that these type of coins may in the long run be more profitable than coins with CRR 50%.
Coins with CRR 10%-30% are too volatile to invest. Mostly CRR 10% coins are unbond-hack-coins. This means they are created to bypass 30 days unbond period applicable for everyone who calls back his coins from the validator.
Coins with CRR 10-30% often are destroyed by their creators, thus you can easily lose your money.
If you don't know the project the coin belongs to, do not buy that coin, make your own analysis.

The next post will cover coin creation, coin math and coins delegation with some nuances.
