I Cannot thank everyone enough. i was being a moron, im redownloading the blockchain now in hopes that the bitcoin core node will allow armory to connect online. if all goes to plan i should be able to see my coins in the morning.

i applogise for sounding like a noob, im trying to install the block chain for bitcoin core again, do you know how to make it default to save the block chain to a different hard drive than the one it defaulted to.
well if you say that the wallet is not sync maybe that is the problem.
Im currently in the process of trying to sync bitcoin core so hopefully my armory can become online.

i sent 0.00624278 btc to my armory wallet. Im a total beginner and had not downloaded the block chain beforehand. Im aware that this is not a problem, however i have not received the coins. the coins were sent from my "local bitcoins" wallet to the link generated by my wallet. what can i do?
