First, no fees, no hurry. It might take hours or days. You need to wait.
Second. Change, https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Change. It doesn't work like you'd think. You send coins out, more might go than you think but the remainder comes back as change.

Problem - unconfirmed transaction
cause - probably because no fees were attached
solution -
My Satoshi client (BitcoinQt) is in-sync. Its been over 5 hrs now. Any solution will be appreciated. Unfortunately, i did not back up before i made this transaction.
UPDATE - i uploaded the private key onto blockchain to see a shocking new low balance.
After checking i realized that there was a problem with another tx as well. I sent out 50BTC but 89.68 was deducted
My qt shows only -50BTC, as i only sent out -50BTC -
