Yes there has been decrease in quality. So if we have noticed new member has been coming in of late most with one major topic bitcoin -that part of the top reason we are all here- but thats not my worry, my worry is new members are placing the hammer before the nail.
I was having a session with some friends they wanted to know about bitcoin -at that time bitcoin was rising- I was about explaining bitcoin and even halving when I was cut short with "how can we make cool cash from bitcoin" these guys don't want to get the whole picture clear there is so much haste.

Bitcoin is not short term, it would do you well to know. You have to build strong efficacy to learning if you are going to succeed here.

OK I agree that these topics in the forum are useful and good but I do feel that very few new members read it at all.
The quality of writing on the forum has decreased recently and it's difficult to find interesting and useful topics lately.
It's just my opinion.

Some of the suggested part on forum and cryptocurrency has been discussed and reminded many times here on BH but you put a good list here with bullets. Very neat and informative of you OP.

I like the social media part advise. Technically many are doing these mistakes for the purpose of rewards and giveaways. But they forgetting how valuable their identity to be kept and to secure when money involved is tempting.

Good job OP! Hope newbies read here rather than bounty section.

While you are right, a thread like this will help many people who want to read and have the desire to keep moving. When we want to contribute, it helps us not to think of a handful of people who have bad habits because something good must have benefits, especially for the OP itself.

I'm afraid that it will not help much because I have feeling that most new members in this forum don't come here to actually read or learn something but to promote something or to meet their writing quotas.

There are too many things to consider in forum moderation that makes user's mistakes. That is the reason why there is a "Report to Moderator" button to easily moderators take an action on it. There are number 33 commandments that made on forum rules that should newbie know before they start posting here. But honestly, these suggestions are commonly used here.

When it comes to cryptocurrencies and trading activity, there are tons of important suggestions and tips that can found here in Beginners & Help board by using a search box engine.
Example,

As newbies mistakes can be made but dont take it as though those mistakes can not be subdued. I will be making some mistakes -this are not all possible mistakes-

+ not reading pinned thread: this thread was pinned with the purpose to create an easy inclination and adaptation for you into that board.
+ reading rules: you will be better prepared and good if among the first thing you do is read rule and work by it.

+ wrongly using forum post,  topic/thread icon: I will place under this the wrong use of quote, emojies, highlights, colour and clip art or little images.
+mixing up board: the post or thread might be of quality but if posted on the wrong board its bad. know boards specialty before using them.
+ impatient: under impatient I can place merit begging, complains about ranking up or any other off complains, sending campaign mangers unwelcomed pm's
+spamming: I will consider as spam, not using search before asking simple question, single lined post that is not accurate, not reading-your post or the thread,topic or conversation- before posting, for the only purpose of bounty/signature completion post, against rule bumping.

         social media
+ joining or remaining in groups that there reputation has be questioned.
+ receiving messages from those you don't know and it involves you bitcoin wallet, receive or transfer funds/crpto, forum account or anything that can leave you open.
+ making open your identity  or personal document to unknown people.
+ using personal email address for multitude of crypto project.
+ referring people into a project you know less about -if it turns out to be a scam you can be blamed-
 
         crytocurrency
+ trading with capital above your losing limit.
+ not securing yourself with   additional security -password, 2fa authenticator-
+ reckless with your wallet seed, address and password
+ trading/investing by FOMO or FUD.
+ doing trading with individual with no escrow
