Mix.in does not have that much value to us Indians as most of us are either too late or too early in the dot com revolution. Meaning people in India that have the money to invest in premium domains and understand how it works have already done so in the beginning of the millennium. While the modern Indians are only learning the ABCD's of internet.
Anyways, I hope you try to market it to the music loving audience especially music artists from the hip hop industry and the DJ's and they don't have to be Indian.
