I visited the fees page and I am ready to bet 5$ that the cards are issued from MyChoice/Wave Crest. So easy to recognize. Cheesy
So there is nothing different than other services offering the same debt card. (ie cryptopay, ect) Aslo OP mentionned he is from India,  unfortunately he can't own such card as Wave Crest doesn't allow his country (and some others as well)

Edit: I checked and the cards are from MyChoice/Wave Crest, you can find the info in the Cardholder Agreement on their TOS page

All cards have now a limit of $250 after that you need to send some documents to be verified. This news limit has been set up by the company issuing those cards (Wave Crest). You will get the same limits with any other services offering thos bitcoin debt cards.

I expect to see cards issued by other companies, not only Wave Crest.
Of course, these are the rules for European companies, so others may have the same rules.
But how about the other continents, especially America?

I use Wirex now. I can't really tell that they are good or not. The conversion rate (Bitcoin to Euro) is pretty bad.
But I've had this card for about a year without using it and I didn't have to pay for that period, which I find a normal behavior.
Now I've been using it for less than a month, and until Monday it worked well. I made 5-10 online payments and all went thru nicely.

But since Monday the unverified Wirex card limits are very low (250 EUR for total lifetime of the card) so I have to wait and see if my account gets verified.

I may try to see other card providers' offer too meanwhile, so threads like this are interesting to me, although you may have not started with the best card around Smiley (but maybe I'm wrong).

The "deactivated" term is pretty strange and may be confusing, my advise is to ask their support for sure. This way you'll also find out how fast their support does answer (in my case Wirex used to answer in ~12-18h). In my eyes, since they say "while your card is deactivated", it should mean temporary (and then the inactivity is not as bad as I first though if you tell them about it - I edited my other post to avoid misleading).

@NeuroticFish: Which service so you use? Or which one do you suggest/recommend? I'm in India, btw!

From https://www.mobi.me/faq:

Quote
Q. Can I deactivate my Mobi Visa card? Do I have to pay a monthly fee while my card is deactivated?
A. You can deactivate your Mobi Visa card when you are not using it. You don't pay a monthly fee while your card is deactivated.

When they say "deactivate", is it temporary or permanent?

The first thing I've seen is that their monthly service fee is 2$ when other card providers have 1$.
Some have differentiated inactivity fee, some have 0 fee if the card is empty/inactive. Mobi will keep deducting the 2$ and after a couple of months of being empty it deactivates the card.
So for start, from what I've read, Mobi is clearly not friendly with small users and the ones using it seldom...

Edit: (some sort of correction) it looks like if you act - tell them to deactivate the card - it may be ok for inactivity, please read the following posts.

Anybody used Mobi Visa card? How good is it? Is their service as good as they say? Also, how is it compared to other Bitcoin debit cards(if you have used any)?
