I do not know how powerful Internet connections are in European countries, but so far I don’t think it is possible to earn money on mobile mining somehow. Not high phone capacities, high internet rates and extremely fast battery discharge - until these factors are overcome, widespread distribution will succeed. Therefore, this way of earning is suitable only for those who are going to use coins for gaming or other purposes, depending on what concept the platform is built on.
My friends and I tried to use a PC for mining, but in a few months while the system was working, we were able to earn about a dollar. I think on mobile mining you can earn even less. It was an interesting experiment, but now I prefer a more accurate system of additional income. I started writing articles for the Taklimakan platform, and I can get tokens for popular articles. It's nice when your thoughts appreciate.

No, you can't mine bitcoin through your smartphone! Mining Bitcoin requires a higher volume of resources! There have some altcoins that offer mobile mining features! But I am not sure about the profits, therefore, it can harm your phone badly! So, you may learn the mining process at first, then you will realize what is best in mining!

No, you can't. If there's a way then you're shortening the life span of your mobile phone. Don't believe with those apps that are existing on playstore because it's not for real. Even GPU, you can't mine it with bitcoin these days.
Those apps are just simulating mining but you aren't really actually mining in there. To mine bitcoin, you need ASICMINER.

I never thought of mining bitcoin via mobile, because it might drain the battery and also shorten the life of the mobile, and I prefer to use the mobile that I have according to its use.

Mining BTC using a mobilephone, AFAIK it doesn't exist. In the past there were altcoins could be mined using a mobilephone, but only a waste of time and pain for your mobile. Hot and this ALT results are't suitable for you to sell even very far from your expectations, Its better for you to find another income whether the faucet or airdrop token so will be able to buy BTC.

Look at google play for an app called Phoneum cloud mininig. It doesn't actually mine its POT (proof of time) it justs runs in the background and you have to tap start earning and you have 24 hours.
You can top the 24 hours up when you have 5 or fewer hours then it resets to 24 hours again. You get between 12-14 PHN tokens that are worth a cent each.

If you want there is an app called sweatcoin and you run it on your phone. It counts your steps and every 1000 steps you take you earn 1 SWC worth 5 cents. I walk my dogs daily and earn 10 cents worth.
Between these two apps thats $6 a month doing something I would normally do anyway and running a simple app.

This user obviously doesn't have experience in mining and I wouldn't suggest to get involved in cloud mining. This is very often connected with different scam scheems and it's very likely that he will loose his funds. There are other ways to earn Bitcoin besides mining.

I agree 100% with you. Newbies should not be pointed towards the way full of traps, they should be pointed towards resources to learn first and warn them about the traps.

That is a huge waste of time unless you get specialized software with pretty good electricity costs. Don't be a conformist. Some people won't think twice before taking advantage of you. Talking about personal experience.

Although mining is profitable but using mobile phone in my right opinion look like, putting your hands on what cannot be realize base on the power that will be involve why using the phone for mining. Phone actually doesn't have such power to handle mining, so, don't use phone for mining Bitcoin.

You can start mining by mobile phone as there are algorithms which can help you to mine with the power of mobile phones. But finding a profitable coin is much more important as for the Bitcoin that will be not profitable with your mobile power instead you can go for altcoins.

No there is no way that you could mine BTC through your phone,
And if there is, Do you think that it would be worth it ?
The heath that it would cause to your phone would only destroy it and you wouldn't receive anything since you are going to compete with those high specs miners.

Mobile mining on bitcoin is not yet developed but some on mining altcoin is seems mineable on phone and there's no application that could do it. Maybe faucet could give you extra satoshi that can collect to have bitcoin.

I think not. There were applications and sites which was recommended by my friends but none of them is legit.
I have only wasted my time for nothing. Mining is only intended for appropriate mining machines and there is no working phone mining for now.

I think until now no one has ever done bitcoin mining just by using a cellphone, except the faucet. Or maybe I am not following developments. Please try with a faucet you can get free bitcoin by watching ads, answering surveys, and maybe playing games. But it must require patience and a long time to produce in large quantities.

I don't think there are apps that can mine Bitcoin thru your phone. If there are, its either not profitable or it will destroy your phone. I think the only profitable mining app that I know is Electroneum at this moment. You can do some research about it. I have been using it for a year already and didn't spent a penny mining on it.

I have read an article they used samsung galaxy s4 phones to dig BTC. This is the reuse of old phones to make money, but in my opinion the way they are doing is just testing.

Yes, you can mine just by using your phone There are many applications now that you can do the mining. But the phone does not have any more effective means for mining. There are so many things in the field of mining for which the phone is not the best medium. Mining is not easy but to mining many things to think. So, in my opinion, it is better to not do the mining through the phone.

It is hard to mine on the phone that it can not bear and does not produce too much and may be damaged. Instead, use some games or apps you can profit from

Yes, you can mine some Alt coins like Monero with your phone, but you run the risk of over loading your phone and damaging it. People even created Alt coins that can be mined with your phone but I think you will have to test this by yourself and see if there are a market for these kinds of shitcoins.  Roll Eyes

Disclaimer : I have not tried this, because the yield from this is too small and the risk too high to damage your phone, so do this on your own risk or on some old mobile phone.  Huh

Mining needs specific machines (ASIC). Anything else will only consume a ton of electricity for nothing.
At least 80% of cloud mining "companies" are scams.

OP should start reading the mining sticky: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-mining-intro-rules-of-this-subforum-read-before-posting-2415854 and also move this thread into the mining section.

You can but it isn't recommended as the lifespan of you phone will be the scarify you'll have to pay and also I don't think it'll be profitable. There are other altcoin though that you can mine using mobile phones and they'll still be profitable like the likes of Monero, electroneum etc but if your interest is in mining just bitcoin, for profitability purpose your better off not using mobile.

You cannot mine bitcoin by using your phone. But there is a Cloud mining available for the phone, it's kind of airdrop. Check Electroneum company. Right now they have about 100k "miners".

This user obviously doesn't have experience in mining and I wouldn't suggest to get involved in cloud mining. This is very often connected with different scam schemes and it's very likely that he will lose his funds. There are other ways to earn Bitcoin besides mining.

Cloud mining programs are very deceptive way to get money or coins from unsuspecting public...yes they may release some earnings but just like the classic ponzi scam soon it will run of cash to pay to its investing members. We should not join those programs nor promote them for personal gains. As to Electroneum, you can mine some coins using your smartphone but they are not that much. With bitcoin, the only real mining is investing with mining equipment and paying the electric bills.

If you knew something about mining surely youre not gonna encourage someone to join cloudmining its just an HYIP type of investment stay away from every cloudmining you see.

Is there anyway I can mine just by using my phone?
Yes you are free to mine using phone mining in mobile phone is doable but not profitable and just a waste of time. The amount of hash rate you will get wont be enought to cover your phones repair in the future due to high temperature and battery problems that youll will get if you continue to run for a long period of time.

Is there anyway I can mine just by using my phone?
No, there's no way to do that since mining requires larger resources (asic) than only using a mobile phone.

But there is a Cloud mining available for the phone, it's kind of airdrop.
Cloud mining is not like an airdrop, it's not just you have to make a particular task to get rewarded in cloud mining, its riskier than you could have imagined since it requires investment and mostly scams.

You can, in fact there is a lot of applications on the play store for that.

But, always remember that the specs and function of your phone will stop you from doing that. Your phone is used for communication, for entertainment and other things, most of the mobile phones are not for mining. When it comes with specs, you can mine but don't ever think you will be getting a lot from it. You will never earn a good amount out of gambling from phone, better to buy ASIC miners.

You technically can probably, but the hashpower would be so low that in the lifetime of your phone I don't think you're going to get even a single dollar. Instead, you're actually losing money because you're using all your phones power, wearing your device out a lot more quickly than it should be from normal use. Your phone would be dead a lot sooner.
