For fat and hot video cards, there have long been proven solutions from closed cases with a good cooling system. We have discussed the issue of using a raiser many times, but with raisers you can buy a cheaper motherboard and these motherboards are more on the market than motherboards that don't need raisers.

The slot spacing on those motherboards is the issue, they're designed for 2 slot cards, fat 3000 cards are bigger.
I don't see a problem. Either you use raisers or you don't buy 3 slot cards Smiley If there was a motherboard for 3 slot cards, then there would be a huge problem with cooling such hot cards that are located close to each other.

If you have only 6 cards and don't intend to expand further than the best bet is Asrock H510 Pro BTC which I personally recommend it to you,no risers needed as it has big slots to fit all your cards in it,it is somewhat more expensive than the other motherboards but so far I have not seen any motherboard which is more stable,I am running 4 cards there but if you intend to use all the six ones you need to install additional fans to cool the cards better.

It's a good motherboard, I don't think the price is that high anymore now that mining isn't profitable like before, the only issue I have with this motherboard is using higher end cards on it, 3080s and 3090s are fat ass graphic cards, you won't be able to use all slots on this motherboard.

Mining profits isn't looking good anymore, I will rather try to go with the cheapest equipment than buying expensive shit this days, mining profit is almost over bro go with the cheapest components, the only thing I couldn't go cheap on is power supply, all other parts including graphic cards must be cheap.

The price of mining motherboards are going lower than graphic cards this days, I used to see 12gpu motherboard for 150$ weeks ago now its 60-70$, how is this not cheap to buy? The money you will spend on two splitters with the gaming motherboard is enough to get you a full 12 gpu mining motherboard.

Community after 4 uninterrupted years my asrock h110 pro btc motherboard has stopped working, I was mining with 6 GPU RX580 Saphire, it has been verified in an electronics workshop and it's short, now it's a paperweight.

Now the reason for this post is to ask for guidance on which model to buy, I have been searching and here are the following:

-ASRock H110 PRO BTC+
-ASRock Q270 PRO BTC+

or which other do you recommend me??, I hope to find the best option here!!!

Buy a ready-made kit in China or any inexpensive 6 GPU motherboard.
I would even look for a used one of the same motherboard on the marketplaces. Or look for ga-h110-d3a, one of my favorite 6 GPU mobos.

Is it stupid to spend 60$ on a motherboard today? If No then OP should be a mining motherboard with 6-8 PCIe slots available on Aliexpress, I don't buy the idea of buying expensive mobo for mining right now too but they are so cheap on Aliexpress, use that fo find what you looking for OP.

If you only have 6 video cards, I recommend you just buy a regular gaming motherboard with more slots than usual. Buy a few M.2 PCIe risers or a 4-way x1 to x4 PCIe splitter card.
Agreed.  And am I mistaken, or does the H110 BTC+ have more than 6 pcie slots?  The reason I ask is because OP is asking for this as a recommendation, which is what I thought he initially had:

-ASRock H110 PRO BTC+
OP, you took the mobo to a computer shop and they verified that it's dead?  Did they say what was wrong with it?  If so, I'd go with what Coinfarm ventures said and just get a decent gaming mobo with one of those pcie-USB multiplier-thingies.  That way you could upgrade your memory and CPU.  I know a lot of people say you don't need a high-powered CPU or much memory for mining, but it helps if you're using Windows IMO.

In any case, I think motherboards designed for mining are extremely overpriced, and you can guy a decent gaming mobo for much less.
